HISTORY

The CADRE / SDCAA Drum Club was formed on March 31, 2007 in an effort to preserve, document, revitalize and pursue the technology of precision rudimental drumming.

From their first official rehearsal April 12, 2007 the CADRE / SDCAA Drum Club has developed a repertoire of classic rudimental drum solos (by both Canadian and International composers) ranging in date from the 1800’s to the contemporary compositions of today.

Their inaugural public performance was the nationally televised Calgary Stampede Parade on July 6, 2007 where they were met with rave reviews.
Since then the program has continued to grow and develop to the point of being invited to perform with, the current #1 country music star on the planet, “Keith Urban” during two sold out concerts at the Saddledome in Calgary. (Sept. 18/19, 2007) See the clip on Youtube
