Warren Barnet

We learned of Warren’s untimely passing this morning through Facebook posts & many, many phone calls back-and-forth. Needless to say, we’re all trying to process this news as best we can.

Warren was an inspirational presence in the CADRE Drum Ensemble. His bass drum innovations – both in musical arrangements & physical structures – raised our performance to a new level.

To say he’ll be missed by his CADRE brothers is a gross understatement. Some players can’t be replaced.

As many of you know, my dad, Warren Barnett passed away suddenly this weekend. His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 26th. Visitation starts at 1:00pm and the service will begin at 2:00pm at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home: 1939 Lawrence Ave. East (between Warden & Pharmacy) in Toronto, M1R 2Y8.

If anyone has any pictures they would like to be placed on poster boards at the service, please either post them on my wall or on my dads.
